FROM TREE TO THE FINISHED PRODUCT
SRK Timber specializes in the manufacturing and processing of teak products.
SRK Timber’s strength lies in the total management of the supply and production chain. The process starts with the trunk’s selection in the forest, and then moves on to the coordination and control of the production of lumber. Following meticulous control and careful selection of the raw
material’s quality, it is used for the production of specific finished products, a phase also managed directly by SRK Timber.
Thanks to solid experience developed on the Italian market, SRK can satisfy the requests coming from the most demanding markets.
SUSTAINABILITY AND CERTIFICATION
SRK operates ethically, respecting the environment and its collaborators. The teak forests from which it obtains the wood are managed in a qualified manner and in compliance with Regulation (EU) 995/2010, better known as the EU Timber Regulation (EUTR). All SRK products are FLEGT licensed and can be FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) certified.
The wood is traced along the entire supply chain, to ensure legality and sustainable operations.
